"You're tuned to                K-S-Q-M-91-point-5    Sequim"

These words are heard every hour, on the hour, on our Commercial-Free, Listener Supported Community Radio. They are spoken by Dennis "Rick" Perry, CMDR, USN (ret,) who founded this radio as he saw the need for an emergency broadcaster in Sequim.

"The mission of radio KSQM 91.5FM is to provide Essential information during times of Emergency and to broadcast quality COMMERCIAL-FREE radio programming that:  Informs, Educates, Entertains, Involves and Inspires listeners on the North Olympic Peninsula... and beyond."

KSQM 91.5FM is a full-power, Non-Commercial Educational radio service of Sequim Community Broadcasting, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation and registered in Washington State as a charitable organization.

We began 24-hour daily broadcasting from our Sequim studios on December 7th, 2008. Our format showcases the genius of The Great American Songbook, which includes the Big Bands, Swing, Jazz, and popular Country,  Rock & Pop hits of the last 100 years.  Our daily broadcast features news, weather and travel condition reports. We also carry special bulletins and community service announcements of interest to families, senior citizens, and Veterans highlighting the services and events offered by non-profit organizations throughout the Olympic Peninsula region.

KSQM relies on listener contributions, business underwriting, and volunteer support.
