Sequim Education Foundation

The Sequim Education Foundation, with the help of our community, is proud to have provided over $28,000 in teaching grants to the students and staff of the Sequim School District in the 2019-2020 school year and nearly $170,000 over the lifetime of our organization.

SEF was founded in 2001, after a double levy failure, to provide funding for the educational needs students (K-12) and educators in the Sequim School District. SEF has continued to grow and thrive with a dedicated volunteer board that includes community members, Sequim School District officials, and student representatives. Since our inception, SEF’s programs have benefited the approximately 2,900 students enrolled in the Sequim School District as well as approximately 310 teachers, para educators and staff. 

Our enrichment programs support the SEF vision by promoting lifelong learning and help the organization and school district develop strong relationships with the community.  Our primary services are: Teaching Grants, Scholarships, Event Grants, and Science Café.
