Sequim Farmers Market

The Sequim Farmers Market has served the Olympic Peninsula for 25 years but is a relatively young nonprofit organization having received our IRS determination in 2019.  We are a seasonal operation and are located at the Sequim City Civic Center each Saturday May-October.  We bring great programs to the community in the form of offering matching dollars for those families participating in the EBT and Freshbucks programs.  Donations made to our organization ensure the continuation of our programs such as those that match food benefit dollars for our local families to access fresh, locally grown, fruits and vegetables.  

Our programs were initially introduced in 2018 and increased significantly year-over year.  EBT redemption increased by 57% and  Freshbucks dollars redeemed increased 102%. We saw a great level of participation with our Senior and Kids Day programs where we offer spending coupons for market purchases.  

Your contribution plays a significant role in creating and sustaining a healthy community and providing local family farms a venue to provide access to healthy food options.
