Sequim Wheelers -

Cycling for all - Adaptive bike program for elderly and disabled folks - quality time in the outdoors for all

Sequim Wheelers provides free adaptive bike rides to elderly and disabled folks (to everyone that can't ride a regular bike by themselves) on our beautiful Olympic Discovery Trail, and thereby offer our riders a quality time in the outdoors. Every wheelchair ride provides an instant gratification to our elderly and disabled riders.

We also work to build a more inclusive community with our service. We feel immense gratitude that we live in a community that so generously supports our program and thereby supports inclusion. Inclusion Matters!

Team Sequim Wheelers (currently 35 trained volunteers) offer weekly rides in cooperation with nursing home facilities and with private individuals. We also gave a lot of special event rides this season 2019, and we are glad our riders were able to enjoy and attend several public Sequim events due to our wheelchair bike rides:

  • Sequim Irrigation Festival Parade
    Irrigation Festival Parade 2019
  • rides to Carrie Blake Summer concerts
  • riding parts of the Tour de Lavender
  • riding Ian MacKay's Sea to Sound ride
  • Cranksgiving - (food drive)
  • weekly regular rides in cooperation with 5 nursing home facilities & more

We are proud to live in a community where inclusion matters.

Your support funds the following efforts: Making  sure more folks will be able to enjoy our wheelchair bike rides. We would also like to add  more adaptive bikes to our fleet to be able to meet different physical needs for different community members. Our program is a 501(c)(3) organization.

We are looking forward to giving more rides to elderly and disabled folks for years to come!

Thank you & greetings
